A Small But Mighty Team
Our Corporate and Sponsors department engages our external stakeholders in supporting our school programs and connects with businesses to develop their sustainability practices .
The Growth and Education department focuses on program delivery, event organisation, educational development and strategic improvement. Both departments are supported by our CEO, administration team and our Board.

Lucinda Sheehan
Partner Coordinator
Lucinda, an Environmental Science graduate with a postgrad in Education, combines her love of sustainability and teaching through her work with EcoMarines—bringing environmental education to remote Queensland communities and inspiring students to create positive, local change.

Kaela Lowry
Program Coordinator
Kaela, an Environmental Science and Business student at Griffith University, is passionate about empowering young leaders through fun, engaging environmental education. As EcoMarines’ newest Program Coordinator, she brings experience from leading community sustainability projects with Logan City Council.

Through her various involvements with Logan City Council, she assisted and led the delivery of community-based sustainability initiatives, such as the Logan Pest Fishing Cup, Clean Up Australia Day, a booth at the Child Protection Family Fun Day and the launch of a native botanical garden.

Juliano Oliveira
Media and Communications Officer
Juliano is a journalist with a passion for social and environmental causes, bringing experience from top media outlets in Brazil and Australia. At EcoMarines, he shares inspiring stories to amplify the program’s impact and connect with wider audiences.

Back in Brazil, he worked for "Folha de Sao Paulo Newspaper", one of the biggest media outlets in South America. In Australia since 2016, he has worked as a senior journalist for Reading Radio and Mackay Local News. Recently, one of his articles was the national winner of a competition called "Tell Us Your Story 2024 - Neighbours Every Day".

As CEO of EcoMarines, Angela combines strategic development and community engagement to empower young environmental leaders. She collaborates with schools and partners to grow innovative, action-based programs that inspire lasting change.

Under Angela’s leadership, EcoMarines is continuing to grow into a dynamic, action-orientated program that educates and motivates students. Committed to collaboration and impact, Angela works closely with educators, corporate partners and environmental experts to create innovative programs that drive real change.

Oliver Brown
Program Coordinator
Oliver is a budding environmental scientist with a passion for how communities can drive climate change mitigation, sparked by his early studies in sociology and a transformative exchange trip to Thailand. Since then, he’s been actively involved in advocacy for social issues and gaining hands-on experience in conservation.

Latisha Somers
Program Coordinator
Latisha is a graduate Environmental Scientist passionate about ecology, with hands-on experience in wildlife care, bush regeneration, and flora and fauna conservation. She’s dedicated to community-driven conservation and hopes to inspire the next generation through her work with EcoMarines and local citizen science initiatives.

Morgraine is an aspiring environmental scientist graduating in 2025, with a passion for ecology and a background in tour guiding and student leadership. Raised in Brisbane, her love for nature drives both her work with EcoMarines and her curiosity about the natural world, especially plants and animals.

Jacqui Gray
School’s Lead
With 27+ years of international business experience, Jacqui brings a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and community engagement to EcoMarines. As a certified Scrum Master and change management expert, she leads teams to deliver impactful, high-quality outcomes that empower young environmental leaders and support long-term sustainability.
